Why we recommend it
This tool is intended for beginners considering lighting for close-up desk videos and video calls. According to a seller's claim on an Amazon listing, the device is a 5-inch USB-powered corded ring light featuring three light colours and ten brightness levels. Customer feedback from an Amazon UK listing indicates that users have experienced straightforward setup and useful lighting adjustments for calls. However, other customer feedback highlights potential limitations, including awkward or unstable monitor mounting, possible obstructions to webcams or screens, and reflections in glasses. Some customers also reported noticeable warmth, loose wiring, or early failures. These reviews appear to cover multiple variants, and users noted that effective lighting may require sitting close and adjusting the angle. This summary draws on selected customer reviews, not independent testing or proof of reliability.
