Building WhichVenture with Base44

What happened
Built the first functional version of WhichVenture in Base44, including the Venture Finder, structured venture database, WV Score system, Venture Library, experiment tracking, resources, PDF downloads, lead capture, admin dashboard and editable site content. The first build was completed and refined in a single day, then published to a temporary Base44 domain for testing.
Lessons learned
Base44 dramatically reduced development time compared with building the same functionality in WordPress. Database-driven content, filtering, admin editing and PDF delivery were created quickly. The main limitation identified so far is that outbound emails to external users require a verified custom domain.
Current verdict
Very promising. The core product works and the platform has enabled rapid development with minimal technical complexity. The next test is whether WhichVenture can attract traffic, generate leads and eventually monetise through content, affiliates and digital products.
